Apache Archiva is an extensible repository management software that helps taking care of your own personal or enterprise-wide build artifact repository. It can act as a nearby (proxy) cache of popular global repositories. It has other features such as repository purge (of snapshots), repository search and browse, securing repositories, identifying unknown artifacts and reporting of repository problems. It is the perfect companion for build tools such as Maven, Continuum, and ANT.
